Branch & Bath
This primary bathroom renovation was all about balancing bold design with thoughtful function. The wish list included keeping the existing fireplace and window, enlarging the shower, replacing a sunken tub with a freestanding one, improving lighting, and adding more storage while maintaining dual sinks.
The result is a striking, modern space with strong mid-century modern influences. Rich walnut millwork brings warmth to the custom vanity and tall linen cabinet, which adds valuable vertical storage. The bold, dark grey wall colour and large-format honed floor tiles add drama and depth, while the Caesarstone Frosty Carrina quartz countertop lends a soft, elegant contrast.
In the shower, a honed hexagon tile defines the floor, and a custom corner bench, clad in matching quartz, adds both comfort and continuity. Matte black plumbing fixtures are paired with gold accents in the lighting and cabinet hardware, creating a refined but edgy mix of finishes.
This renovation not only elevated the aesthetic of the space but met every practical need, a modern retreat that feels both personal and polished.
