Process

1. Initial Design Consultation

Our first meeting is all about getting to know each other and understanding your vision. We’ll review the scope of work, discuss your wish list, needs, and design preferences, and explore inspiration imagery to help define your aesthetic. Based on this discussion, we’ll provide a detailed fee proposal.

If architectural drawings (existing or as-built) aren’t available, we’ll return for a full site measure before design work begins.

2. Schematic Design

Using insights from our consultation and the site visit, we’ll develop an initial design concept and provide visual tools to bring it to life, including:

  • Floor plan layout options

  • Mood board

  • 3D renderings

3. Design Development

After reviewing your feedback on the concept, we’ll move forward with a complete set of Interior Design drawings, which typically include:

  • Existing and proposed floor plans, with construction notes as needed

  • Reflected ceiling plan (lighting layout)

  • Electrical plan

  • Finishes plan

  • Key interior elevations with dimensions, details, and notes

  • Millwork drawings (if applicable)

  • Finish schedule

4. Submission for Tender

Once the design is finalized, the full drawing package and finish schedule are submitted to contractors, trades, and vendors for pricing.

5. Project Administration / Management

Throughout the build, we stay involved to help keep things on track. This includes:

  • On-site walkthroughs with the client and contractor/trades

  • Ongoing communication via email and phone

  • Revisions to the design, if needed, due to site conditions or product availability
